Dr. Cordain records that ancient humans didn't eat added glucose, so soda and energy drinks aren't permitted. Even diet soda pop is off restrictions since it doesn't source essential nutrition, even if it generally does not contain any added sugars. Fruit juice is a tough drink. Completely juice doesn't contain any added sugar, but it's also stripped of the dietary fiber that whole fruit resources. Dr. Cordain recommends eating super fruit in its entire form and restricting juice to an intermittent glass. The complete dairy products group is also off limits on the Paleo Diet, so you can't drink cow's milk either, nevertheless, you can drink homemade almond dairy instead of cow's milk.
